After I left corporate world, I felt a sudden need to recheck myself and realigned my thoughts to a more focus in self improvement and inner peace.

I do miss being in a team challenging ideas and plotting out strategies.. but looking back I was sucked in to a deep negative hole fighting with demons masked in human form in suits just to be on top...NAH! Thanks for the lessons and all the perks.. I wanna be me again and I don't need to be the greatest actress to fit in!

So, I slowly maneuvered myself to exercise more as I've tortured my body i.e. eating unhealthily, smoke a lot, binging outings, late nights to escape from work stress. I lost my metabolism as I've now aged passing the mid thirties crossing to forty for goodness sake! When I made up my decisions, it's usually when I'm listening to my body... and I can hear it screams Oi! Wake up and give more love to me! ME! Your body that is a vessel to your soul!

Yeah.. once I left the company well I was lucky to negotiated my departure with my top boss, my CEO whom was offering me to stay and instead I took up the compensation as I needed the break. My GM was an ass.. seriously and I don't bother to have any farewell cos their drama is beyond I can comprehend. My body rejected to be in their presence too as it was up to vomit blood some may say! Their time will come around to the corporate leeches and monkeys...

After our maiden trip to America... New York is the best city in the world! I'll blog about this I promise... I psyched myself into following videos on simple exercise routine. Trying to squeeze few simple work out. Then, I started for group work out as I need some social interaction. I signed up with FIRE and enjoyed the kick boxing classes. I like the vibes there too. People are pushing it at their own pace and motivatig each other.

Now I am more conscious in my eating habits, more fruits and oats... veggies too less carb. I was doing well until I had a collagen drinks which spike up my weight as hell! All those work out shedding weights toss in the god damn drain.. but at least I'm telling myself I gained my stamina back and I learned!!!! Beware of your poison!

Snapshots of late last year

What had happened late last year when I was leading my life journey?
Been a year Daddy-O left us. Al-fatihah. We all miss him dearly...
I was busy with work understanding the industry and participated in company events.
Squeezed some time to do things I would strike off from my bucket list. That includes fencing, wakeboarding, shooting training :)
Travelled to Paris in October (where I can use a little bit of my beginner French - je parler un peu francais). Then to Dubai count down for 2012 (which I fell ill due to fever and diaorrhea - worst flight back home everrrrr!) but had a great time with two lovely ladies.
I finally moved to own home after waiting for almost a year to get the keys. Alhamdulillah!
Pebbles really happy for me and he enjoys going up and down the stairs haha...

Oh well, life is how you make it. How you make your choices and choose where it will steer you. Sometimes it's ok to make the wrong choices as long as we know how to get it back to where it should be. Otherwise have faith and be grateful that we can still breathe and walk on this ground and don't waste it! We live only once.. Be good do good and all will be good :)

I have been slowing down on wandering around the malls

At times I got lost cos my steering wheel swerves to them accidentally! LOL!

Somehow these days you don't have to leave your desk and your lappie to satiate your need of urm shopping!

Since I joined bazaar those days and met amazing and wonderful people thanks to bijou/mariam there are thousands ok am exaggerating hundreds of links that sells their stuff online

Some are too kiddish for me (but whatever it is am still 10 yrs ol heheh) finding something that really makes me flip rarely happens or they would be too small for me when they arrives in my post box

So I have been following this petite gal vivy and she's truly a cili padi cos the way she dresses are just a lil different from people her age and yet she looks decent and elegant :)

Her humble thoughts that attracts me and a loving gal to her family is a rare gem!

She recently came up with her own online store where she gathers and collaborates with local designers as well as those in neighbouring countries!

But of course you can go direct to the boutiques but how can you keep up with their new stock/stuff kan?

This supavivy link FV is a brilliant idea for people like me!!!!!!! I <3 it and hats off to her :)

Bought some stuff like mimpikita, innai, baci, gallo and others from the site and there were a lil hiccup in my 1st order (but they gave me a voucher w the code - sorry) how cute is tat?! haha

Had wonderful time celebrating in 50s themed birthday held in Coliseum Cafe

To those who have been there looooooooooong time ago or recently, the place never changed!

Only my steak this time wasn't as I expected but oh well it was a celebration anyway! :)

The guests were all sporting and donning a'la 50s guys came in vest, beret and cigars so yeah it was a fun night to remember

We were taking picchas every nook of the cafe :) being a drama queen the birthday gal, Sariah did most of the art direction heheh!

Since parking is kinda scary at the area I bid early and joined a handful of my Lipe crew in twenty.one cbb

Been awhile I took my dancing shoes out and let my hair down! woopeeedoo!

Amazing gals nite out and sometimes you gotta dress up and go all out and dance to your heart content!

It's a form of release for me so yeah join me next time!
