Fast forward to April 2019, here I am dusting off the cobwebs of my blog. LOL!
I'm not sure if anyone still reads blogs but frankly I miss ranting by myself on this special platform that was dedicated in pouring my hearts out to keep my sanity.

Yes, I talked a lot cos my mind constantly processing a lot of things you know. So this outlet actually relieves some of the input from my brain. Haha!

It's been a swell year(s) after leaving corporate world.
Nothing like the freedom of being myself and not trapped in that eeky reek of dirty politics full of goblins and devils in disguise!

Anyway, there's a lot of interesting stuff cookin' up now.
I was back from my favourite island Langkawi for LIMA show. It was amazing to see and hear the jets dancing above the skies. A day before the show I was invited for the most awaited fashion showcase by local couture maestro Rizalman as King Riz. It was epic and regal as we were all dressed to nines according to the theme.

A week before that I was in Perhentian Island with Moo. We had an amazing time relaxing and having fun with nature.

Hey, I was never ever made to be a housewife/homemaker yo!
Even though I left corporate, I juggle a lot of simple work and keep myself occupied with fitness activities and of cos some social dose in between.

Life is short and I always believe we should make the best of it. GO FOR ADVENTURE!

hello november!

OMG!

One more month to bid farewell to 3-series!!!
Frankly, I'm not feeling any much different except that my bedtime is preferably earlier as sleeping is precious nowadays, I cut down my sugar intake and loading up fruits+veggies, I like the morning air and I have lesser friends cos I tend to be selective and cannot tolerate b#lls*t....

As life has never failed to teach me a valuable lesson, I count my blessings instead of complaining and sulking about it.

A lot of things I've checked this year after I left that giant corporation for sure. I can't believe clocking day in day out on that twin tower for the past 4 years. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and knowledge that propelled my career to next level!

So what's in store currently you may ask? I might be talking to myself here... I miss pen down my thoughts and feelings.. so many things to share!

Yes it is the time...

After almost 8 years we have decided a month ago to start our journey seriously officially hahaha

He has planned mostly everything, what I do is tightening and acting as advisor for our celebration. We try to minimize the involvement of both mommies and so far so good.. Alhamdulillah!

I like our invite which is simple yet pretty (to my juicy eyes) well some minor things which I should highlight to the designer but yeah.. small lil things that should just let go

I have my own invite tracker and budget in excel sheet haha yes am so kiasu innit. I really wanna DIY most of the stuff but if only time permits hmmm...
So far we managed to get our own light bulb strings.. Doing it from scratch yes! Oui! Jadore
Will share with you when it is ready!

Anyway, the best thing we did today was....
Tadaaaa......

Yup our own monogram that I have we created ourselves. I foresee this is the first stationary for us and more to come heheh!

Can't wait to finalize all the preparations for our petite soiree...

Things We Do

Boy every time it's year end there will be lotsa things to do people to meet and celebrate..

Not that I am complaining however, it helps to occupy my time and a good distraction from work. I realized also that friends come and go.. not only works for me but to the rest as well.

Next month is a big step well changing my official status heheh.. He said he has prepared some guards incase I speed off from him :p 
Like I always believe that if it is meant to be with Almighty's will and blessing it falls into place.. Amin. Insya'allah.

Actually, there are more things I wanna say and share with you. However, let me have some rest and beauty sleep. We were tired from torturing ourselves in the gym and pool earlier. Yes.. I think I am the fattest I have been and I do not think I will be a skinny bride hahaha oh well... catcha again!

What is the fuss about?

Hi :)
As early October I have we have planned something big together.
You must be wondering or you may have guessed...
It's something that has come, that we should to continue our journey together :)

I feel that I want something simple, something that will not make us suffer later for the sake of impressing, something that should be intimate with people who matters and something that we both would agree it's celebration of our union.

Deep in my heart if it's meant to be it will fall and sail smoothly... be it in anything in life :) always have faith and when the time is right it will fall into place easily for you.. alhamdulillah.. Insya allah.

We have finalized most of the important stuff i.e. location, paper works, religious procedures, wedding planner, catering and importantly my dress! I hope it will turn out as I imagined. Nothing fancy yet it should be special :)

The negotiating part is the tricky one cos this wedding planner is not somebody I know it's his friend and he wanted it WOW haha talking about my groomzilla... Heheh I told him it's best we save some cost for our honeymoon rather than pay for something so temporary!

COBIT 5

Heyya,

Guess what. I went for a training with my bosses and took exam on the last day. I was so kiasu that I had gastric attack day before the exam and didn't actually managed to read all the pages on the handbook.
But tadaaaaa... I passed my exam woohoo only beaten 3 marks ahead from the bosses.. Imagine if I had read them all :P

Anyway, COBIT stands for Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology. It is a framework created for IT Management and IT governance. It is a tool set aligning enterprise goals and IT goals. OK why do I need to know all these? Haha cos my role now is very challenging I need to speak the same language as my bosses and also educating and managing my stakeholders. Insyaallah this knowledge will help to understand the role better.

I am so glad that I went for the course and made my boss proud by not flunking it tee hee hee

Bonjour!

I have been on a hiatus for sometime. The journey has been on a roller coaster mode.
Nevertheless, in time of occupying my mind to a positive energy I decided to spend more time here to let my chest out, clear the system and share my thoughts.

New blog header! Yes, I have spontaneously played around and polish of the dust of my creativity juice. Haha. Tadaaaa...
I chose it to be simple, clutter-less and a hint of the French dans moi :)

Time flies faster and I hope my old self will come back and shine bright like a diamond like how it was meant to be!

Short getaway

This water baby need some dose of that once awhile and am lucky we are living in a country that we can just escape to the warm water over the weekend :)

This return to Perhentian Kecil Island Long Beach was after two years
Which wasn't a nice experience last I was there
The perception change this time as I had ton of fun in the water and lazying at the beach under the hot sunny sun
It's the company that you are with that matters
4 of us gals made a good combo ;)

Anyway I had fun and I don't mind doing it again! Yay!

General Lisa's Baby Shower

Last Sunday on the 3rd of June I attended my first baby shower 
It was for our dear friend Lisa whom I would say are blessed that she glows during her pregnancy and didn't suffer the bloatness of water retention
She's embracing the motherhood very well even though we all knew she'll be the last person among us to be a mommy! Haha never say never!

Another dear friend has taken care of the deco 
Izreen did a great job for the day. Fluff + stuff rocks! :)

It was a great time bonding with everyone and yeah those who were neither a mommy or married gathered in one of the loudest table teeheehee
So many interesting topics we covered which includes "jom main..." sms sent to a friend who then showed to me.. OMG! *shakes head* crazy bunch of friends they are! 

So many yummy finger food and cupcakes. All looking too cute and pretty to eat!

Baby Safira is the cutest! And Ilaika is the prettiest :)

Oui! Tres bien!

I seriously need to polish my French again. Also to take up yoga back. 
Anyway for those of you who are as fascinated with anything French like me do check out the French affair in June :) *click*
