Health & Fitness Journey

After I left corporate world, I felt a sudden need to recheck myself and realigned my thoughts to a more focus in self improvement and inner peace.

I do miss being in a team challenging ideas and plotting out strategies.. but looking back I was sucked in to a deep negative hole fighting with demons masked in human form in suits just to be on top...NAH! Thanks for the lessons and all the perks.. I wanna be me again and I don't need to be the greatest actress to fit in!

So, I slowly maneuvered myself to exercise more as I've tortured my body i.e. eating unhealthily, smoke a lot, binging outings, late nights to escape from work stress. I lost my metabolism as I've now aged passing the mid thirties crossing to forty for goodness sake! When I made up my decisions, it's usually when I'm listening to my body... and I can hear it screams Oi! Wake up and give more love to me! ME! Your body that is a vessel to your soul!

Yeah.. once I left the company well I was lucky to negotiated my departure with my top boss, my CEO whom was offering me to stay and instead I took up the compensation as I needed the break. My GM was an ass.. seriously and I don't bother to have any farewell cos their drama is beyond I can comprehend. My body rejected to be in their presence too as it was up to vomit blood some may say! Their time will come around to the corporate leeches and monkeys...

After our maiden trip to America... New York is the best city in the world! I'll blog about this I promise... I psyched myself into following videos on simple exercise routine. Trying to squeeze few simple work out. Then, I started for group work out as I need some social interaction. I signed up with FIRE and enjoyed the kick boxing classes. I like the vibes there too. People are pushing it at their own pace and motivatig each other.

Now I am more conscious in my eating habits, more fruits and oats... veggies too less carb. I was doing well until I had a collagen drinks which spike up my weight as hell! All those work out shedding weights toss in the god damn drain.. but at least I'm telling myself I gained my stamina back and I learned!!!! Beware of your poison!

Happy Labour Day!

1st May
It's a holiday for everyone and also a day that change something in my love life
It's quite a weird and unacceptable but somehow God has laid his plan for us innit..
Now I don't look back but instead plan and hope for a better future with lotsa great adventures :)

Yesterday we had a tea w some of my favorite ppl in a new French bakery
It's called Levain Boulangerie Pattiserie right in the busy street of Golden Triangle
The place is an old bungalow converted to a cafe
Nice set up but it's not exactly French at all
Had a good catch up with them and I would return for the le durian macaroons!!!
So yummy it melts in my mouth
Go and check out the place nice to hang out w a group of friends :)

Anyway enjoy your holiday.. Lucky it falls on Sunday

We're in Sydney now!
Staying over at Anita's crib which was really a spanking posh apartment right next to the Casino
Baby Gabriel is a big boy from the last I met him
Couldn't believe that am finally here :)
She's a super sweet host who made us sambal ikan bilis with nasi putih wei!
Sangat lazat dan puas!
We hoped on the ferry to cover the Darling Harbour and Opera House
Walked thru George Street and of cos checking out Supre haha
Had to be in a supa looooooong queue in the cold for our dinner in Mamak in China Town
But it was all worth it
Unbelievable that chinese opening up a mamak place I tell ya!!!!!
We ordered roti telur bawang, half a dozen of satay, chicken curry, kangkung belacan and teh tarik
Great portion with good price but most importantly it's tasty
It's almost 3 am here and we're back from dancing the nite away in Ivy
I tell ya the club is awesome and Dj was playing hard
Even though I have back pain from walking a lot in the supa cold weather it didn't stop me from boogie-ing with the gals
Marvelous time...

The Weather Is Extremely Hot!

Woah! These whole Chinese New Year hols is super hot!
Showered most of the time when I feel sticky and spent mostly outdoors so I can get some healthy tan :)
He offered to buy me lunch so we went to Ole-Ole Bali, Solaris and afterwards some refreshing frozen yoghurt in tutti frutti frozen yoghurt parlour
Firstly our Indonesian lunch was really yum! I ordered Nasi Uduk which amounting to RM33 per plate (in flat wooven basket actually) comprises of otak-otak wrapped around lemon grass stick, grilled squid, dory, chicken rendang and some condiments with sambal to go with my fragrant rice
Sedap!
Top off with cold barley lime which was soooo refreshing!
Ambience was really nice with Balinese music in the background so it was somehow took me away from the heat and transported my mind back at the magical island :)

Chatting with him (again) without any hatred nor expectation was calm but am just not giving in anything yet
He was a superb companion I ever had but yeah it wasn't easily be forgotten of what had transpired earlier
Life is short am yeah am not the kind of person dragging things and missing a beat in this journey of mine
Let's move forward to a positive path and let it flow...

Hey... bestnya.. so I said "on! fetch me pls!"
The 4 of us hopped into his mini cabrio w the rooftop down blowing our hair like perempuan gila
Lucky I got ma hair clip to control the flippin frenzy mane
Haha and Jas was really pleased with the ride as it was her fav car!

It wasn't the buffet durian that I expected like the one in SS2 RM10 eat all you can but this was the bomb!
The durians are from diff category; Raja Kucing, Kaki Buloh and those D24, D11, D119 etc
I guess it was the top notch ones hee hee and for the second time Jas ate those smelly good fruits in her life!!! YAY!
Will bring mom and the two munkees to this place cos our party managed to eat the whole basket and the price was half than I expected!
The feeling after eating 16 ulas of those yellow creamy bittersweet fruit gave me the same effect as stoning aha!
My surrounding became slow and I just couldn't focus and spacing out!!!! Daymn!
Super satisfied and yeah kenyang nak mampus after that ~_~

Since it wasn't tat late yet we followed the boys to hit some balls in SS15
Wah we kinda like the place, music ambience and civilized crowd
It's been ages since I hold a cue he he and yeah it was a good game between me and Jas :)

Binging On Anything Sweet

Lately I've been binging on snacks, chocs all the time
Guess I have too much stocks in the fridge and in my metal drawer at work LOL!
A lot of reshuffling has been going on

Bambam gonna fly off to Clark with his bunch of buddies this weekend
Agh... I miss him already cos we've been spending a lot of time together lately

Tired today cos I've been to 4 different furniture stores within an hour!

Found out we got a very attractive discounts at Harvey as a developer co.
I eyed some nice arm chairs and dining table
But but ugh... I know I need to sort other stuff at home before rearranging the whole concept of my juicy nest!

Marathon and oh! I found my flakes

Drove bro around today looking for his stuff
We had super power packed lunch @Seoul Garden later and covered the ol and new wing in OU
Really stuffed ourselves gloriously (I'm hooked on the teriyaki beef) and amused in our own little world as usual
Couldn't careless on our surroundings and laughed like mad teenagers LOL!
I told him I wanna open an ice cream parlour if I don't get to be a zookeeper one day haha
Scooping and rolling the ice cream into a nice ball is a bliss *bimbo giggles*
Ice cream turns me on at any day yo!
So much fun and found there was this awesome shoe store hidden in one corner telling myself gonna grab few pairs sometime when am comfortable with my budget
Sales were every corner and Anya Hidmarch has this awesome pumps at 60% off.. ayayi!
So many people shopping for CNY and the air hmmm.. there was once were fishy as hell
We wonder! WTH!

Bambam texted me saying he accidentally scrapped his head while shaving this morning oh gee
He said it was really cold over there so he feels kinda numb
I replied but still waiting for his reply... been twelve hours now *sighs*
Missing him and I hope everything is alright

While looking for spring onion and other stuff to make my juicy potato salad in Cold Storage I found my Cadbury Flakes *jumps in joy*

OMG I've been wanting it since forever man.. happy happy so happy

I'm still contemplating to trim my hair cos I know I will cut it shorter if I step into any saloon
Dammit I better wait for my size 28 curling tong that bambam managed to get for me to arrive then I'll consider again lah
But am bored having it coiffed and badly need some kinda magic to it

Had two nites of dvd marathon
Seriously I have no preference and enjoy every movie I watched even those reviewed as lousy ones

We also watched one Spanish horror called The Orphanage kinda similar to The Others and open minded non judgmental indie movie about experimenting sex titled Show Bus
It was really cool and crazy haha

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

I had great two days celebration over the weekend

With people who are important to me and those who can drives me nuts and to laugh uncontrollably all the time
*feeling all fuzzy*
This year I had FOUR CAKES!
Oh no... am staying away from dessert now.. I HAVE TO la...
Enough of the bulging on my sideways.. ugh!
It was a nice quiet well not exactly quiet la dinner with people matter to me most (except few who were busy with baby showers, weddings and escapede with lover haha)
We had at The C Club
Food was great and ambiance aaah.. I luv luv it how can I resists bling bling all over yo!
Price equals to food was on the value for money side
My spring chicken was awesome but bambam's tenderloin was sooooooo much better!
Will order that next time!
Waiters/servers were helpful and accommodating to us -_______-
Only to find out later when we got home that they didn't deduct the lamb shank from the tab (supposedly the first order for bambam and said it was finish and to change to something else) that costs us RM55
Hmmmm... tak best la kan but when I called about the error the manager said I can have it the next visit
Hmmmmm... whatever.... so overall it was satisfactory and the place is really nice to chill with friends!

We celebrated his bro birthday sometime last week at TGIF OU
He's the opposite of him well more reserved, slightly darker and in the world of his own
We barely talk and by now he should know am a real crazy and loud one cos I went off quietly to tell the TGIF peeps to sing a Happy Birthday song to him
Too bad mamabambam gotta leave early to fetch the non independent younger sister of his from her dance practice
Oh yes she's an amazing dancer you know those hip hop modern dance and did back up and opening for few concerts
Last I heard she even met Wade Robson of the famous dance project show of his in MTV

OH YEAH!
Bambam was in good mood of having special dinner for buka puasa last Friday
So we went off to the nearest steak house around the corner, Eagle Nest
The sirloin garlic steak I had was well done! and of cos we ordered half dozen of escargot and shrimp fracaise as appetizer plus glasses of warm sky juice -_________________-
See the good thing about us is we luv luv food and quite adventurous in trying out anything except those bugs or internal organ stuff la...
Ok not quite adventurous but appreciate good stuff haha tats better innit!
The second part is we surely knows how to entertain ourselves or irritates each other for attention LOL!
Yup we are easily amused..... too easy at times!

Picked up my online shopping in SS2 and went for my lace fitting
Was at Show Pink Junk sale but didn't join cos of the limited space and crowd and besides I don't really wanna rush for the party too (which in the end we came quite late) what's new?!
Instead of selling I managed to snagged a knitted studded bag Vivienne Westwood inspired and a wide silver waist cincher (WWF belt as Afzan's puts it) at a fantastic bargain

There was quite a number of ol handbags you know those where your mom or even grandma used to have on sale
I don't really digest the coolness of these kinda bags cos first of all it's too small for me to chuck all the stuff and secondly the strings are usually too long and looks slightly better if you sling it but the shape too dressy
Ah I dunno it's the latest craze among the youngsters who think it's sooooooo vintage and cool but it's just one of my fashion pet peeves

Anyway after breaking fast at @parent's place today I chatted wif mommy in my ol room turned to guest/praying room upstairs
She showed off some of baju kurung she bought and funny thing was she also showed me a big blue container hiding the raya cookies away from the two hahahahahahhahahaa
